Kicking IFRAME into WYSIWYG mode and setting content Can't Post

Having a helluva time getting this to work in IE and FireFox...

In IE you can use innerHTML on the IFRAME document. In FireFox it appears you need to createRange or similar?

Also setting it's designMode looks like FireFox needs a small delay, whereas IE fails if not done immeditaley after setting it's innerHTML?

Anyone care to shed some light on this for me? Previous experiences, etc?
