Shortcut
forms based security and htmlArea popups Can't Post

I have a web site that I use forms based security. When users log in a cookie is set for user identification. As the user visits other web pages this cookie is read and user can access only authorized sections.

I added htmlArea to one of the web content generation forms. When users generate a web page by using htmlArea (more preceisely when they use functions of htmlArea that requires pop up windows such as adding a hyperlink) Request.Cookies function can not read cookies and the system kicks users out.

Why would the pop-up functions of htmlArea effect reading Cookies?

Thank you in advance for your opinions.
