Shortcut
validating content Can't Post

Hi,

I'm using HTMLArea 3 and I trying to verify that my textarea is not blank before I submit my form. With text in the HTMLArea frame, a reference to document.formName.textAreaID.value reports the content is empty.

I'm assuming HTMLArea holds the content somewhere else until submission. Can someone tell me how to refence that "somewhere else" so I can ensure the field isn't blank?

I can do server side validation, but I prefer to keep this page consistant with the rest of the site.

Thank you,

woganaut
