2 suggestions.. Anchor and linkable image

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

2 suggestions.. Anchor and linkable image Can't Post

Great program! ik am using a 2.03 modified htmlarea with image upload/ editor and Insert File addon.

Is there a module for inserting Anchors.... if i handcode an anchor it works in the page but if i look back in the code after saving it is gone.... but still works... probably becuase an anchor is an empty tag.,..

Another thing is to make image be linkable.... anyone written some fix or something?

Thanks a lot!!

Hi jeromewheeler:

To make images linkable, try post #60 of this page:

http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=6025;page=3;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25

Regarding Anchors, attach your editor and I'll gladly do it for you.

greetings

Hi, is there any possiblity of getting a copy of this code? I need to be able to let users insert anchors into the htmlArea and if I can do it without having to figure the javascript out that would be wonderful.
