Luis editor - linking to anchor problem

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Luis editor - linking to anchor problem Can't Post

Hi all,

First thing, Luis mod for htmlarea is great !!!

Now for business: I can not solve the linking to anchors problem, and after spending the last 3 hours searching the forums without success, I am asking for your help.

Can some one please tell me how to take out the editor page part when I want to link to an "#anchor".
I want <a href="#anchor01">click here</a> and I get <a href="myEditorPage.htm#anchor01">click here</a>.

10x in advance,

Re: [alfa8007] Luis editor - linking to anchor problem [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Alfa, I had the same problem. I only need anchors in my document so I wrote a new one which makes only links to anchors. If you can implement this one somehow into the old one, things should work! I hope you can read it, part of it is dutch.

Hi Marjan,

Dank u, but it didn't work, I stil get the additional page name.

I think that the problem is some where in the editor.js file, but I don't jscript that well to find it.
