escaping from <p>

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

escaping from <p> Can't Post

i'd like to have a formatblock without any format, like...

Code
this.formatblock = {
"Heading 1": "h1",
"Normal": "p",
"without": ""
};

is this possible?

Or exists a possibility to remove all formats from a selected area?

use

p { margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; }

(and look at the other posts about this topic in the forum...)

p { margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; }

is not interestingly, because p with it's style is needed. but we also need text outside from p ;)

in this case you can use my DynamicCSS Plugin. you must define 2 styles classes for the p tag. one with margin = 0 and the other without.
