De-facto add-ons for image upload and/or spellcheck?

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

De-facto add-ons for image upload and/or spellcheck? Can't Post

Howdy,

I'm new here... I'm building a PHP site and my client needs to be able to update page sections with a WYSIWYG interface like htmlArea offers. I think an image upload function, or even an option to simply browse an html directory and select an image, would be very beneficial. I need one that is the most simple to operate though.

Likewise, a spell-checker would be great, again, very simple to use though.

Seeing as there seems to be no repository for the add-ons, could anyone recommend some of the most popular add-ons for these two purposes? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

rc
