Aspell

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Aspell Can't Post

I host a website at www.teamicarus.com and it's hosted by www.liquidweb.com.

You can request Perl Modules to be installed and since I use Mambo Content managment and HTMLAREA 3 as my wysiwyg plugin in Mambo I thought it would be nice to add spell check functionality. At the Mambo forums they only speculate on how to install but they can't even get teh module installed at their provider since I already have overcome that hurdle and the module is installed and added to my environment my question is.

How do I incorporate the Aspell files from into HTMLAREA. Where do I put them and which files of HTMLAREA do I have to edit to get it to work?
