[Solved] Toolbar Config Error: Cant find requested dropdown definition

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

[Solved] Toolbar Config Error: Cant find requested dropdown definition Can't Post

Hi everyone,

first of all thanks for the fantastic htmlArea, keep on your great work.

I would like to use htmlArea in a WCMS and therefore I am trying to customize the toolbar so the font and font selector (and some other buttons) are not displayed anymore:

Code
var config = new HTMLArea.Config();

function initEditor()
{
config.toolbar =
[
[
"formatblock", "seperator",
"subscript", "superscript", "separator",
"copy", "cut", "paste", "space", "undo", "redo"
],

[
"justifyleft", "justifycenter", "justifyright", "justifyfull", "separator",
"insertorderedlist", "insertunorderedlist", "outdent", "indent", "separator",
"inserthorizontalrule", "createlink", "insertimage", "inserttable", "separator",
]
];

HTMLArea.replaceAll(config);
}

Using this configuration I get the following errors:

ERROR[createSelect]: Cant find the requested dropdown definition
FIXME: Unknown toolbar item: seperator

In spite of these errors the htmlArea works fine after clicking the "OK" buttons.

I already used the search function and found someone with similar problems. A user replied the following solution:

Code
config.toolbar = [["bold", "italic", "underline", "seperator", "createlink", "insertimage", "seperator", "redo"]];

But this produces the same errors.

I tested htmlArea 3.0 RC1 and 3.0 beta with Mozilla Firefox 0.8 and Internet Explorer 6 SP 1, both same results.

How can I get rid of these annoying errors?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi,

I think you will cry if i give you the answer:

seperator isn't separator!

Argh, damn copy & paste errors... sorry for my stupidity.
Thank you very much, now everything works fine!
