Edit and Saving Files to server

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Edit and Saving Files to server Can't Post

I have writen a perl program that allows me to use htmlArea 3.0 to edit complete web pages, but when I open a page htmlArea 3.0 does not display the images, the path is wrong, I have added the _editor_url variable to the header file that the cgi loads, this was not an issue with 2.0. If any1 could help it would be great, once this issue is resolved and I add a upload image function to this package I would like to release it for free to others.

It features...

Secure password protection, ability to restrict files edited, custom header.inc file that will allow you to customize the pages layout, add menus, ect..

thanks
