Image Picker with Image viewer

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Image Picker with Image viewer Can't Post

Image Picker/Viewer

ASP file to replace insert_image.html. This file will allow you to view the images in a specific folder on your web server before inserting the image into the document you are editing. No need to know the URL to the image. This is much better than the default image popup and very simple to replace the current insert_image.html file. Requires an ASP enabled web server.
  • Set three variables in insert_image.asp
  • Upload insert_image.asp to your popups folder
  • Search for insert_image.html and change it to insert_image.asp in the editor.js file.
  • Done!
  • Easy enough for beginners. If you can install the HTMLAREA then you have enough knowledge to upgrade to this image picker.
  • Sorry, I don't have time for support but you probably won't need it anyway!

Good luck and Happy Coding!

Hi!

I have made something like that. Simply image uploader and picker but in PHP. You can try it online
