Insert Link / File plug in

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Insert Link / File plug in Can't Post

Hi!

I`ve gone through every thread here now trying to find a Insert Link add-on which could work for me.

I need to retrive links from a MYSQL database, running PHP server-side.

Could anyone please give me anything to go on here?

Thanks anyway!

Re: [DieZel] Insert Link / File plug in [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm not sure what you mean, but I make my own links with php. Copy the orginal (Luis version) of insert hyperlink. Change the textfield "link_value" to a select-box. Retrieve the information from the database and echo it as select-options.

E.g like this:

echo "<select size=15 name='link_value' style='width: 280;'>";

for ($p=0; $p < $page_num; $p++)
{
$page = mysql_fetch_array($res_pages);
echo "<option value='index.php?headID=$row[headID]&pageID=$page[pageID]'> $page[page]";
}

echo "</select>";
