Luis - error with insert hyperlink

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Luis - error with insert hyperlink Can't Post

Iīve problems with the insert hyperlink popup. If the selected text already is a link i got an error

"document.set.Myclass" is null or not an object

The solutions would be to unlink the text automaticly when creating a link - but I donīt know how...

Re: [Sara] Luis - error with insert hyperlink [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Sara:

In insert_link.html , search for:

document.set.Myclass.value = Myclass;

and make it:

if (Myclass!== null){
document.set.Myclass.value = Myclass;
}

Let me know if it worked.

Don't give up!!

Thanks for the quick reply!

No, it didnīt help, but I discovered the problem. I have removed the class, id and name fields in the orginal script, so thatīs why they are empty! Now I just commented out the lines and it works fine.

Thanks again :-)
