editor_insertHTML() ???

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

editor_insertHTML() ??? Can't Post

Hi,

I want implement my own image upload using asp. I have no problem doing that but having very little knowledge of javascript i have no idea how to insert it into htmlarea.

I have figured out how to make my own custom popup window but how do I add the URL to my image back into the editor once I have uploaded the picture.

I know the editor_insertHTML() function has something to do with it but how do i use it.

I'd very much appreciate any help

cheers

My problem too!

The following post re V3 alpha may help us (if you are working with V3) - I have only just found it. It looks complex so I am hoping it can be turned into a much smaller, commented, simple version so that you, I and various others who have asked the question have something easy to get started with. If you find the answer before I do (based on the link or otherwise) please post back.
