A directory of browser-based WYSIWYG editors

Home: htmlArea 2: htmlArea 2 & 3 archive (read only): htmlArea v2.0 - Add-Ons:
HTML Area, image upload and link target feature.

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

HTML Area, image upload and link target feature. Can't Post

I am currently looking at HTML Area to solve a particular problem I have. It is a great piece of code but I need it to do 2 more things.

1. When a link is inserted I need it to allow the user to choose a target, i.e self, blank etc.
2. When an image is placed on the page I need it while uploading the content of the form to a database (which is already done) to also upload the image to a defined directory, whilst at the same time placing the image filename in the appropriate field in the database. I have looked at the EiSa add on but it doesn't appear easy to use.

Can these things be achieved. I would be prepared to pay good money for these 2 additions. Can anyone do it?

Right now i'm trying so insert MS-Word documents which contain images, rename those images and upload them. Read this:;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;page=last;guest=6628512&t=search_engine

I already succeeded in renaming the source of the images. At the moment i'm struggling with the upload-routine. Don't know if this is what you're looking for. By the way: i use PHP and Mysql.
