Please, somebody check my Wordcleaner

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Re: [Luis] Please, somebody check my Wordcleaner [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Luis, thank you for your reply, I feel like stupid becouse now everything is working fine, I don't know what happen but is ok, thanks anyway.

I have some questions:

1.- the editor that is in http://webstationone.com/test/htmlarea is the last version of the word cleaner?

2.- is possible whe you pres the "enter" key instead of doing double space do a single space "<br>"

3.- the editor has the capability to use the "Tab" key?

4.- when I paste something in to the editor i would like to resize the hole text and set the font to arial is that possible?

I know that I asking to many things, the editor is working great as it is, if is possible to do that will be great if not, any ways is an excellent add-on, thanks for the effort to do this.

Jorge

P.S please excuse my bad english

Hi jorge_esp:

1.- the editor that is in http://webstationone.com/test/htmlarea is the last version of the word cleaner?

Yes, it is.

2.- is possible whe you pres the "enter" key instead of doing double space do a single space "<br>"

Yes. It's possible, however, many things will misbehave. For example, you'll lose the ability to use lists.(<LI>, <DD> or <DT>). To insert a <BR> you can type SHIFT+Enter instead.

3.- the editor has the capability to use the "Tab" key?

TAB is not HTML, therefore you cannot add tabs to your text inside the editor. The tab key is used to jump from one field to another in your form.

4.- when I paste something in to the editor i would like to resize the whole text and set the font to arial is that possible?

It is possible but it has limitations, meaning you'll lose any formating in the editor even those fonts you changed manually everytime you paste something. Unfortunatelly, you cannot modify only the clipboard contents, but the whole content in the editor window.

Greetings
