Word Cleaner problem in editor.js

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Word Cleaner problem in editor.js Can't Post

Hello people,

I have been using htmlarea v2.0 for a while now and it is excellent. I have included modifiations to it for inserting links and images, which now work great. I have also included some modifications for table properties, so I thank all who helped, and I appreciate the code used.

I have tried to include the Word Cleaner Luis did, whereby it simply works on paste, so there is no button or anything......but unfortunately, I can't get it to work.

I have copied the code as best I can, but I think I am missing something very basic.

Could Luis or someone, when they have time, please look at my editor.js file which is attached. I would really appreciate this, as my editor is exactly the way I want it, apart from this feature.

Many Thanks,

Alan...

Re: [east666] Word Cleaner problem in editor.js [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi east666:

From my editor.js, copy the function editdoc.body.onpaste and all instances of cleanHTML(contents) and apply them in the corresponding places in your editor. Unfortunatelly I don't have the time to do it for you.

greetings.

Hi Luis,

Thanks for the advice, I needed that kind of guidance.

I will get it sorted, I just needed to know what to look for.

Thanks,

Alan...
