A directory of browser-based WYSIWYG editors

Home: htmlArea 2: htmlArea 2 & 3 archive (read only): htmlArea v2.0:
Can you help me to install this editor in my Article Manager please?

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Can you help me to install this editor in my Article Manager please? Can't Post

Hi everyone,

I went to Article Manager Forums and they sent me here to get the help I need so I hope you can help me out.

The htmlArea editor is a good, simple, and easy WYSIWYG add-on to deal with. But I need to try another one for a while to be sure of something I really need. However, I couldn't install it since it doesn't include any instructions, It includes only examples of the editor in different features.

I will be grateful to you if you can help me installing this editor guys, I really need it.

The editor name is ( FCKeditor ) and the direct download link is:

I'm planning to use it in my Article Manager so I will put its files in the same place as the htmlArea editor (which is in /images/wysiwyg).

It's hard for me in my level to figure out how to install it in my AM program without anyhelp.

I hope you can help me with this issue,
