adding html around img tags

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Shortcut
adding html around img tags Can't Post

Hi all,

I am trying to use htmlarea as a heavily restricted editor for a cms application.
Bascially, I can't allow the users to preform any formatting themselves when it comes to adding images.
Also, the images need to be formatted in a specific way, where the image is placed inside a table and 2 border are created using the tables border color and having the background color of the table slightly larger than the image.

I don't want to bore you with the design specifications. What I need to accomplish is to have automatically put some html code (i.e. the formatted table) around every img tag that gets inserted in the textarea.

I had a look at the insert_image.html file, but I can't figure out where I would need to add the table code.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Chemoul
