html back to normal textaera on second time!

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

html back to normal textaera on second time! Can't Post

Hi,

I found a weird behaviour of HTML area. I guess this is due to some setting of my hosting provider (brinkster) but I don't know the code in depth so I cannot say that for sure. The fact is that if I visit the html area page of my site, the first time everything is fine. If a visit the same page a second time I can only see a normal textarea. If I close and reopen the browser, htmlarea is back and fine...

Is there something (e.g. session variables) that is used to check if the browser supports the htmlarea that could cause this problem? I'm using the htmlarea inside an iframe. But everything works fine the first time so I doubt this could be a problem.

Thanks

Stefano
