Aspell with v2

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Aspell with v2 Can't Post

Folks,

At a high level, what would be necessary to include Aspell functionalkty in V2 of htmlArea. Is it even possible?

Thanks,
Chris

Re: [cgreene] Aspell with v2 [In reply to] Can't Post

It actually isn't that difficult once you have it figured out. I posed the same question back in March/April... but I couldn't find anyone to help. So after days of trial & error, I figured it out on my own. Here is a post I submitted after figuring out how to get it to work... I wanted to help anyone else who had the same questions I did: http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=27833;search_string=spellerpages;t=search_engine#27833 . It has worked wonders so far. Everybody in the company who has used it has loved it. Hope that helps!
