Different paths - Same editor ?

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Different paths - Same editor ? Can't Post

Hey...

Here is my situation:

I have forms in www.domain.com/path1/ , www.domain.com/path2/ and www.domain.com/path3/

My editor.js + Popups and images is in www.domain.com/elements/js/editor/

I can get it to work, hvem the editor isnīt in the same directory as my textarea..

Heres my code:

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
_editor_url = "../../elements/js/editor/";
</script>
<script language="JavaScript" src="../../elements/js/editor/editor.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

<textarea name="Content"></textarea>

<script language="javascript1.2">
var config = new Object(); // create new config object

config.width = "200";
config.height = "100";
config.bodyStyle = '';
config.debug = 0;

config.toolbar = [['bold','italic','underline','UnOrderedList'],];
editor_generate('Content',config);
</script>

It gives me a : document.all[..].style is null or not an object... Whats wrong.?

/Anders

Hi anders

try to set '../' instead of '../../', That your script code looks like:

<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
_editor_url = "../elements/js/editor/";
</script>
