Issue with <P> and <BR>

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Issue with <P> and <BR> Can't Post

Hi, I am using HTMLArea to format some contents, and I am having some issues with <P> and <BR> tags.

Every time I use the htmlArea, it adds <P> and </P> tags to my text. I am absolutely sure that there are not pre or post processing on my script that do this.

Besides, I have this problem,

I am triying to add the following text, but after the text is formatted by htmlArea, I have a lot of <BR> tags on the text:

<table width="400" align="center" cellspacing="5">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><img src="79508mini3.jpg" width="81" height="115" border="1"></td>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><img src="79508mini3.jpg" width="81" height="115" border="1"></td>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><img src="79508mini3.jpg" width="81" height="115" border="1"></td>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><img src="79508mini3.jpg" width="81" height="115" border="1"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><font color="#4a65a5"><b>Grosor:</b></font>3mm</td>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><font color="#4a65a5"><b>Grosor:</b></font>3mm</td>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><font color="#4a65a5"><b>Grosor:</b></font>3mm</td>
<td align="center" valign="top" bgcolor="#f3f3f3" class="txt01"><font color="#4a65a5"><b>Grosor:</b></font>3mm</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<!-- Fin, tabla a 4 columnas con foto en la zona superior y texto debajo -->

I need help to solve this, I note that many users had the same problem, I would appreciate any suggest.

Thanks a lot, and sorry for my english, I know it is not so good.
