inserting the rich text into sql database

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Shortcut
inserting the rich text into sql database Can't Post

Hey folks

was just wondering if anyone could help me with a small problem. I am using .net to do my insert statement but an error "Name 'Content_Page' is not declared" keeps popping up. I know this is due to me not accessing the value or text of the editor properly so i was just wondering how can i do this. Do i need to define a variable, then store it, then insert it?? I just need to run a small check before i do the insert which checks to make sure data has been entered. Also (i know i'm pushing my luck here) i was wondering what is the best field in sql server to store this data.

Appreciate any help

Thanks

Turklad
