'src's of images and 'href's of links

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

'src's of images and 'href's of links Can't Post

Unsure i've got a headache trying to undestand why inserted links doesn't work. i use htmlArea in a form. that form sends content of the htmlArea (using post method) to a php script wich saves it to a txt file. and when i view this txt file i see that src attribute of an image or href attribute of a link is wrapped into a \" istead of ". the php script uses only simple functions like fwrite(..., ...). what should i do now? can anyone help me?
PS sorry for my clumsy english

It sounds like you have magic_quotes turned on in your php.ini file (which is good!).

Use the PHP function stripslashes() to remove the slashes from your quotation marks.
