Spell Checker incorrectly saying no spelling errors

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Spell Checker incorrectly saying no spelling errors Can't Post

I've got Aspell installed and seems to be working. However, when I open the example-spell-checker.html and click on the spell checker I get a an alert msg "Spell check complete, didn't find any misspelled words. Closing now..." but there are error still.
Thank you,
Stan Winchester

Re: [StanWinchester] Spell Checker incorrectly saying no spelling errors [In reply to] Can't Post

I commented lines 299 & 300 in spell-check-ui.js as shown and the alert goes away and I find the dictionaries have not loaded even though they are installed.

//alert(i18n["NO_ERRORS_CLOSING"]);
//window.close();

Any ideas what to do?
Thank you,
Stan Winchester
