Images : No copy & past

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Images : No copy & past Can't Post

I modify htmlarea v3.0 in order to remove a lot of functionnalities in term of image insertion. I reach all my objectives except 1 : I do not want to be possible to copy and paste pictures, only text... how can I do that?

Christophe

Re: [cmanquan] Images : No copy & past [In reply to] Can't Post

in my htmlarea.js in line 1657 i have:

Code
        case "paste":
try {
this._doc.execCommand(cmdID, UI, param);
if (this.config.killWordOnPaste)
this._wordClean();

(modified it a bit to fix the killWordOnPaste-bug)

there you could implement a killImageOnPaste-function that removes all <img tags...

but the copying you can forbide
