Enlarge Editor Works in FF, But Fails in IE

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Enlarge Editor Works in FF, But Fails in IE Can't Post

I have encountered the following problem in IE. The Enlarge Editor button loads an empty textarea in IE, and even the toolbar is missing!

Has anyone else seen this problem?

UPDATE: I found the following errors when the page loads, but I have not yet found a solution.

Code
Line: 2
Char: 1
Error: Syntax error
Code: 0

URL: http://www.domain.com/htmlarea/popups/fullscreen.html
--
Line: 12
Char: 1
Error: 'HTMLArea' is undefined
Code: 0

URL: http://www.domain.com/htmlarea/popups/fullscreen.html

Warm Regards,

Raven Cecil

Re: [rrcecil] Enlarge Editor Works in FF, But Fails in IE [In reply to] Can't Post

I solved the problem on my own. The fullscreen.html page was not loading htmlarea.js, because the <script> tag was using a relative path.

I changed it to an absolute path and it works!

Code
Old Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="../htmlarea.js"></script>

New Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/htmlarea/htmlarea.js"></script>

I hope this helps someone else solve this annoying problem.

Warm Regards,

Raven Cecil

Argh i was searching for hours for a solution to this problem....

FireFox and intercrap explorer must treat the relative path different depending on where the window was opened.

I saved exactly the same code in the examples directory into my root directory. The one in the examples directory worked wheresa the root directory didnt.

You change the code in htmlarea/popups/fullscreen.html
