A directory of browser-based WYSIWYG editors

Home: htmlArea 3 (beta): htmlArea 2 & 3 archive (read only): htmlArea v3.0 - Add-Ons:
Creating a New Popup (Repost)

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Creating a New Popup (Repost) Can't Post

I'm sorry to double post this in the forum, but I really needed a solution, and I hope someone on this forum can help me!

I am integrating this into a content management system and I wanted to make it pull a list of images out of a database.

I have changed the html page that is called by searching and replacing in the .js include file.

I have enclosed my copy, but when I click on the image, all I get is... nothing back!! Can anyone point me in the right direction? What have I done wrong?

<script language="javascript">

var myTitle = window.dialogArguments;
document.title = myTitle;

function returnSelected(strImage, altTag) {
var text = "<img src='" + strImage + "' alt='" + altTag + "'>";

window.returnValue = text; // set return value
// alert ( text );
window.close(); // close dialog
