Using thumbs on index page

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Using thumbs on index page Can't Post

Hi

I want to use the thumbnails created by the image manager plugin on an index page which is generated from a MySQL database. The thumb does not need to link to the indexed page, just be displayed.

The problem I am having is to somehow insert the correct image name into the db relative to the info inserted by htmlArea.

Because the image editor itself launches in a new window I cannot see a way of passing the correct variable back to the insert page where the text box is.

If I can just get the name of the image into the same row of my db with the input from the textbox then I will be over the moon, but nothing I can come up with will work.

I am using PHP ImageManager + Editor with HTMLArea 3 RC1.

Any help would be great

Colin
