please help: Some plugins are 'undefined' :(

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

please help: Some plugins are 'undefined' :( Can't Post

Hi all htmlarea experts ;)

I have a problem with using some plugins with htmlarea v3 RC1. I have this problem with several plugins, but not all. TableOperations and ImageManager works perfectly, but DynamicCSS and InsertFile gives me an error. In example when I try to load the InsertFile plugin I get:

InsertFile is 'undefined'

What does this mean?

I use this code to load the editor / plugins:

Code
<script type="text/javascript">
_editor_url = "/ntn/rammeverk/js/htmlarea/";
_editor_lang = "en";
</script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="/ntn/rammeverk/js/htmlarea/htmlarea.js"></script>

<script type="text/javascript">

HTMLArea.loadPlugin("ImageManager");
HTMLArea.loadPlugin("TableOperations");
HTMLArea.loadPlugin("InsertFile");

function initDocument() {
var editor = new HTMLArea("ingress");
editor.registerPlugin(TableOperations);
editor.registerPlugin(InsertFile);
editor.generate();

var editor2 = new HTMLArea("tekst");
editor.registerPlugin(InsertFile);
editor2.registerPlugin(TableOperations);
editor2.generate();

return false;
}
</script>

(please excuse the \" bacause it's inside a PHP string :)

Please help! This is quite urgent.

Yours sincerely,
Thomas Kulvik

Blush ooops.. figured it out. This was a really stupid problem. Some of the plugins used <? tags instead of <?php tags. My apache was configures to parse only <?php. So there you have it.

Quite -> Crazy

Have a nice day Tongue
