Problem with scrollbar in IE
I've been working on a content management system for some time now (internship), and i've implemented an adjusted version of HTMLArea to give users a great tool to edit their content. I've got it to work with mozilla and IE, with some PHP code for uploading images and some other things. All works well, except for the scollbar, which behaves very strange in IE.
When the user selects a page for editing, the HTMLArea is loaded, and the content is loaded in the HTMLArea so the user can edit the content. Most of the time, the content can't be fully displayed in the HTMLArea, so scrollbars are created.
My problem is that when the user clicks on the scrollbar arrow, or drags the scrollbar to the desired position, it (the scrollbar) jumps to the end of the page. This is very annoying because the only way to move through the text is by pressing the arrow keys on the keyboard. I have to say that this behavior is only occurring with IE 6 and service pack 2 installed. I've tried it with IE 6 + SP1 and Mozilla Firefox and it works like a charm!
Is anybody familiar with this problem, and if so, does anybody have a solution to it?
PS: the HTMLArea itself is GREAT...
