ATTN:: FireFox users

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

ATTN:: FireFox users Can't Post

Firstly, I am in no way affiliated with Mozilla, although I use it as my primary browser.

Now that is out if the way, I would advise all Firefox users to download the latest release 0.9.

I have found that a couple of issues with htmlarea not refocussing on return from the enlarged window and/or the source window have been sorted in the latest Firefox version.

I cannot guarantee what it will do for you but those were solved on my system. (WinXP/Firefox).

It would be interesting to know what Firefox on Linux was doing, so if anyone is using it, please post a reply.

Have fun!

Well, I work with Firefox/Linux at work and it works fine, also with version 0.8. So... no problems here.

Same here, FFox 0.8 worked nice, so does 0.9 on Gentoo Linux
