LANG files

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

We'd like to thank all of you who sent translations; from now on please submit them under this thread, it'll be easier to track them down.

These files will be included in the distribution zip, so please add a short comment at the beginning of the script with your name and email address.

Ok, first version of a danish translation.

Great work.

After translation to danish i noticed that you might come short for at text for the "minimize editor". I for one couldn't find the text in the original file ?

Looking forward to the release.

Re: [mishoo] LANG files.. and more? [In reply to] Can't Post

would be a nice thing to traslate all the popus folder.

in the code is only to add a variable named cs_languaje, and store the popup´s folder name in avariable like 'popup'+cs_languaje.

Crazy

Re: [mishoo] LANG files - polish translation [In reply to] Can't Post

This is polish translation for this beast :)
Anyway i think that i found a bug in alpha release. In detail, when i click on 'font color' or 'background color', without selecting any text in editor, i've got message box which contains

[object error]
textindicator

I think that could be only mishoo's debug message, but i feel better when i saw this.

Thank for pretty and Free tool! :)

No, actually that's IE's "debug" message ;) Perhaps if you would use Mozilla you'd know what's going on wrong Tongue

Thanks for the translation and the bug report. ;)

Re: [mishoo] LANG files [In reply to] Can't Post

Hello all users of htmlarea.
I did a little improovements in original htmlarea, may be developers will find them usefull. Here is description what I did:
1. Added check for IE version >= 5.5
2. browser version is checked not only in constructor, but in .generate () method too.
3. Error messages moved to language file
4. Error messages may be displayed by popup alert (as before) or in any specified page element (see HTMLArea.Config.infoBoxId property). This feature may be needed you sitecreator do not want to bother visitors by popup windows.

Here's the italian language and table/spell plugin .js files.
Next step might be to allow the PopUps to use a language module as well, so that the labels and such can be loaded from a language file as well (or one of the existing ones).

Re: [mishoo] LANG files [In reply to] Can't Post

sorry, i didn't see this thread, so i repost. There are errors in the language files:

in <anylanguage.js>
errors in the labels:
-"orderedlist" should be "insertorderedlist"
-"unorderedlist" should be "insertunorderedlist"
-"horizontalrule" should be "inserthorizontalrule"

Here is a corrected French version

Re: [gring] LANG files [In reply to] Can't Post

This problem is fixed in CVS. I'd appreciate if anyone could use the CVS version of the files for translating.

For people unable to use CVS: you can download a nightly CVS tarball from this address:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cvstarballs/itools-htmlarea-cvsroot.tar.bz2

It is automatically generated from the latest sources by SourceForge. For unpacking under Windows, WinZip should work.

PS: For a previous post, Italian translation is already there, thanks to Fabio Rotondo.

Re: [AtK] LANG files [In reply to] Can't Post

I am a new user and hope I do not repeat something already mentioned.

German language file does not work (as many others) because label may be changed and some translations are missing.
In the attachment you find a file which is working with current beta release.

Also some images have to be changed (Bold, Italic etc).
Furthermore I read that popups will be translated - is it finished ?

Anyway htmlarea is very amazing - absolutely fantastic Cool

Re: [softpoint] LANG files [In reply to] Can't Post

Ok, CVS had old versions of finnish language files.. But is the en.js right languagefile to check if everything is translated? Is so then theres the "insert" vs no insert before i18n tags difference. And also something which i don't remember now:) But still here's the finnish files. And the swedish translation is so old that it even doesn't work in CVS version.
