Mac Support - Can I get a straight-up answer?

The htmlArea 2 & 3 editors have been discontinued.

We've made these forums available as a read-only reference and knowledge-base for people using or developing editors based on htmlArea 2 or 3.

Anyone who is interested in taking over version 2 or 3 is free to do so. All we ask is that you choose a new name that doesn't have "htmlarea" in it to avoid confusion with this site. We'll even give you a link in the directory to make it easier for people to find you. If you are developing or hosting an htmlArea based-editor under a new name, please submit it to our directory.

Mac Support - Can I get a straight-up answer? Can't Post

Hello folks I hate to be so direct after just joining the forum, but I am under a wicked deadline and I need a solid answer: What is the status of HTMLAREA support for Macintosh? What version works on Mac? What Mac browser does it work in? What Mac OS does it work in? Is there anything I should know?

Again sorry to ask so many questions at once. I've been using HTMLAREA for years on my various site and we're just about to rollout a huge project and I found out at the last minute that they are all on Mac. Is there a FAQ somewhere or a "sticky" thread on the messae boards that address these issues?

Thanks again!

In my experience, htmlArea 3 works on Mac OS X with Firefox and on Mac OS 9 with Mozilla 1.3.1 (WaMCOM build).
